Sony Compensates PSN Users For Recent Outage

PlayStation’s PSN services went down earlier this week (on Christmas Eve, no less) for five days due to supposed service attacks, interrupting their immense holiday sale. Sony has offered a few New Years perks for PSN users for their Christmas outage.

Existing PS Plus users will have their subscription extended for five days automatically. In addition to the PS Plus extension, for a limited time PSN users will be allotted a 10% discount on an entire cart purchase.

The PS Store has some excellent deals lined up for the first month of 2015, so these discounts are only an added bonus to already excellent discounts. Check out the list of games on sale here!
